Finding Safety in Your Body Again
A Somatic Reparenting Experience
The therapy. The supplements. The breathwork app you open and close without using. The books about nervous system regulation that you understand completely and still cannot seem to live.
And you still don’t feel safe in your own body.
This is not an information problem. This is a safety problem.
And it didn’t start with your diagnosis or your burnout. It started long before — in a childhood where it was never fully safe to feel.

Your nervous system was just keeping you safe.
When feeling your emotions wasn’t safe, your body found another way. It stored what couldn’t be expressed. It kept you moving, producing, achieving — because stillness felt dangerous and vulnerability felt like a risk you couldn’t afford.
That survival strategy made complete sense then.
But your body is asking something different of you now.
The autoimmune flares, the hormonal shifts, the burnout that won’t lift — these are not failures. They are invitations. Your system has been waiting, patiently and persistently, for you to finally turn toward the parts of yourself that never got to be held.
Somatic reparenting is the practice of finally answering that call.
Your nervous system never got the memo that it’s safe to rest.
This workshop is that memo.

What Is Finding Safety in Your Body Again?
Finding Safety in Your Body Again: A Somatic Reparenting Experience is a 3-hour in-person workshop designed for those who are done managing their symptoms and ready to heal at the root.
This is not a lecture. This is not more information to intellectualize.
This is an experience — one your nervous system will remember long after you leave the room.
In three hours together WE will:
🌿 Regulate your nervous system using 7 neurosomatic tools you can use every day — becoming the safe, regulated presence your nervous system has always needed
🌿 Meet your inner child through gentle, guided IFS parts work — and begin giving yourself what you needed but never received
🌿 Move and release through a trauma-informed yoga flow designed to open the places where unfelt emotion lives
🌿 Experience optional hands-on assists — the felt sense of being truly held, offered with full consent
🌿 Leave with The Regulated Human Toolkit — your personal somatic reparenting guide with 7 tools, 3 daily sequences, and integration journaling promptsThis is not a lecture. This is not more information to intellectualize.
This Is For You If…
You are a human whose body has been sending signals you can no longer ignore.
You push through. You perform. You hold it together for everyone around you — and somewhere along the way you stopped being able to feel much of anything at all.
You are navigating chronic stress, autoimmune conditions, burnout, or hormonal shifts — and something in you knows these symptoms are connected to something deeper.
You have done the work. The therapy. The research. You understand what dysregulation looks like — and still cannot bridge the gap between knowing and actually feeling better in your body.
You grew up in an environment where your emotions were too much, your needs were unwelcome, or being vulnerable wasn’t safe. And you learned to survive by disconnecting from the very body you live in.
You are ready to stop surviving and start feeling safe again.
If you just exhaled reading that — you are in the right place.

What Somatic Reparenting Actually Means
Most of us — regardless of how we were raised or who we are — learned early that certain feelings were not welcome. That needing things was a burden. That the safest version of ourselves was the most composed, most capable, most together version.
Somatic reparenting is the practice of going back — not to relive what happened, but to finally give yourself what you needed and never received.
To meet your own needs through the body rather than the mind.
To become the safe, regulated presence your nervous system has always been waiting for.
This is not gendered work. This is not niche work.
This is the most human work there is.

Ashley Hartman, LCSW, PMHC RYT-200
Somatic & Attachment Trauma Practitioner
Ashley is a licensed clinical social worker, perinatal mental health clinician, and trauma-informed yoga teacher with over 15 years of experience working with humans doing the deepest work of their lives.
She comes to this work both as a clinician and as a complex PTSD survivor — a dual lens that shapes the depth, precision, and compassion of everything she facilitates. She knows what it is to have spent years achieving, performing, and holding it all together while a younger part of her was still waiting to be found.
She is trained in EMDR, Attachment-Focused EMDR, IFS, DNMS, Brainspotting, Ego State Therapy, and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR with IFS integration — and she weaves all of these together into a whole-system approach that meets the nervous system where it actually lives. In the body.
She is not here to fix you. She is here to hold the space while you find your way home.
This workshop is for anyone ready to do that. Regardless of gender. Regardless of background. Regardless of how long it has been.
