Sacred Rhythm
Individual Therapy & Somatic Trauma Work
$200 per session · $225 initial assessment
Most people arrive here having already done the work. The books, the CBT, the medication adjustments, the well-meaning advice. And yet something hasn’t shifted. Something in the body still braces. Something in the nervous system still waits for the other shoe to drop.
What is The Sacred Rhythm?
Sacred Rhythm is Ashley’s model for weekly individual therapy — a slow, intentional, deeply relational process that honors both the science of trauma and the wisdom of the body. Sessions are 50 minutes, held weekly, and built around a single guiding principle: your nervous system gets to set the pace.
This is not symptom management. This is a full homecoming — to the parts of you that learned to stay small, to the wounds that shaped how you move through the world, and to the wholeness that was never actually lost.
How We Work Together
- Attachment & the Nervous System — Every session begins here. Ashley works to understand your unique attachment patterns — how you learned to connect, protect yourself, and survive in relationship. Through co-regulation and consistent relational presence, the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a vehicle for healing. Your nervous system learns what safety feels like — often for the first time.
- Somatic Healing & Trauma-Informed Yoga — Trauma lives in the body, not just the story. Ashley integrates somatic approaches and trauma-informed yoga to help you reconnect with physical sensation, release stored activation, and regulate the nervous system from the inside out. This is not about flexibility or fitness. It is about learning to inhabit your own body again.
- Parts Work & IFS — Informed by Internal Family Systems, Ashley helps you identify and befriend the parts of you that carry old wounds — the inner critic, the people-pleaser, the one who shuts down, the one who rages. No part is wrong. Every part has been trying to help. This work brings them into the light with compassion.
- Childhood Core Wound Mapping — Together, you and Ashley identify the core beliefs formed in childhood that still quietly run the show: “I am not safe.” “I am too much.” “I have to earn my place.” These aren’t character flaws — they are adaptive responses to early experiences. Naming them is the first step to releasing them.
- Co-Regulation & Reparenting — Through the consistent experience of a regulated, attuned relationship, your system begins to update its understanding of what connection can feel like. Ashley uses Attachment-Focused EMDR remodeling to facilitate reparenting of your internal system — helping younger parts finally receive what they needed and didn’t get.
The Foundation for Everything That Follows
Sacred Rhythm sessions are not just therapy — they are preparation. For clients who are moving toward Ketamine EMDR reprocessing, this phase is essential. Ashley works with each client for a minimum of two months before any reprocessing begins, ensuring the nervous system has the capacity, the safety, and the relational trust needed to go deep.
This is not a waiting period. It is the work itself.
